Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is seeking a versatile, hands-on, and highly motivated IT Specialist to serve as the primary technology resource for our growing organization. This role combines end-user support, systems administration, cloud infrastructure management, Cybersecurity, and network operations, making it ideal for a well-rounded IT professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats. As the company's go-to technology expert, you will be responsible for supporting employees across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, managing core business systems and identity platforms, maintaining network and cloud infrastructure, and driving security best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in an autonomous environment, can effectively manage competing priorities, and is comfortable translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

  • End-User Support: Act as the first and final point of contact for all IT requests. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for 60 employees across Windows/Mac/Linux environments.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the technical setup for new hires (laptops, accounts, access permissions) and securely offboard departing employees.
  • Systems Administration: Manage and maintain our core platforms, including Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, Active Directory/Entra ID, and cloud backups.
  • Network & Infrastructure: Maintain local network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, Wi-Fi) and ensure maximum up-time and performance.
  • Asset Management: Track and maintain the lifecycle of all company hardware (laptops, monitors, mobile devices, printers) and software licenses.
  • Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Enforce company security policies, manage antivirus/EDR solutions, ensure regular data backups are running successfully, and conduct routine security patching.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison with third-party technology vendors, internet service providers, and software support teams.
  • Led administration and optimization of multi-cloud environments utilizing AWS and Microsoft Azure, improving system availability, enhancing security controls, and streamlining infrastructure management.
  • Manage enterprise user identity and endpoint administration, including device provisioning, lifecycle management, and secure authentication through SSO, Okta, and password vault solutions such as 1Password.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in an IT Support, Systems Administrator, or IT Generalist role (experience as a sole IT provider is a major plus).
  • Technical Breadth: Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, network fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP, corporate networking platforms such as Cisco Meraki and hardware, endpoint, and peripheral troubleshooting. Hands-on administrative experience with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf) and Cloud platform.
  • Problem-Solving: A logical and resourceful approach to diagnosing and fixing unfamiliar technical issues independently.
  • Communication: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical fixes to non-technical staff in a friendly, approachable way.
  • Organization: Strong ability to prioritize urgent help desk tickets while maintaining long-term maintenance tasks.
  • Experience administering and provisioning ERP platforms, such as Oracle NetSuite, including user management, role-based permissions, workflow support, and system configuration, is a plus
