Colossians 3:23 Requirements As Controller, you’ll take the lead on financial operations while helping elevate the function: · Oversee day-to-day accounting operations Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process Drive budgeting and cost control initiatives Analyze financial data to guide strategic decision-making Improve reporting systems, processes, and internal controls Partner cross-functionally with leadership to support growth Support, mentor, and help develop the accounting team Ensure payroll accuracy, bonuses, and commission processing Assist with financing activities, including loans and credit lines You’re a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who also sees the big picture: · Proven accounting experience with increasing responsibility Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management High integrity and commitment to accuracy Ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver under pressure A proactive mindset—you don’t just report numbers, you interpret them Technical Skills & Experience Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Advanced Excel skills (modeling, analysis, reporting) Experience with ERP systems and BI tools Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Acumatica is a plus Comfortable working across departments to implement improvements Who You Are · Curious and inquisitive—you ask “why” and dig deeper Hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves Solutions-oriented with strong critical thinking skills A clear communicator who can translate numbers into insight The Bottom Line We’re looking for a Controller who wants more than a back-office role—someone who wants to shape decisions, improve processes, and grow with a company on the move.
