Performs intermediate level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Pivotal aircraft and components under limited supervision. Ensures all work is performed in accordance with approved data, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness. 
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Pivotal aircraft and products including structural repairs and components and/or parts replacements. 
  • Conduct functional tests, system checks, and post-maintenance verifications to ensure continued airworthiness and compliance with Pivotal engineering requirements and applicable regulatory standards. 
  • Use diagnostic tools, including mechanical, electrical, and software-based systems, to troubleshoot system faults. 
  • Travel to events, demos, and customer locations as needed to provide on-site maintenance support, field repairs, and mission-critical technical response. 
  • Provide remote technical support for customer- performed maintenance, including video calls, guided troubleshooting, and real-time repair validation. 
  • Accurately document maintenance actions, findings, customer interactions, and service reports to support continuous improvement and product feedback loops. 
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, electromechanical systems, or related high-reliability assembly environments. 
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred; equivalent military experience accepted. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface directly with customers, both on-site and remotely. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel for events, customer support, and field service assignments. 
  • Hands-on experience working with electronic systems in controlled environments. Experience with electrical debugging, handling, swapping, and repairing PCBAs. Experience with handling installing and testing cable harnesses. 
  • Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data. 
  • Experience developing or executing maintenance procedures that align with FAR Part 43. 
  • Prior experience working at a Repair Station, FBO, or aviation field maintenance environment. 
  • Previous customer-facing technical support experience. 
  • Familiarity with digital maintenance tracking systems
