• →Travel extensively throughout Europe for major sporting events and breaking news.

The correspondent will be expected to develop expertise across:

• European football business
• Tennis
• F1

• Olympic sports
• Rugby
• Cricket
• Private equity in sports
• Sports finance
• Sports law and regulation
• Sports media
• Emerging technologies impacting sports

• At least 5+ years of reporting experience covering sports business, finance, media, or corporate news.
• Demonstrated ability to break exclusive news.
• Strong understanding of European sports economics and governance.
• Experience covering publicly traded companies, private equity, venture capital, or institutional investment is highly desirable.
• Excellent writing, interviewing, and source development skills.
• Ability to interpret financial statements, legal filings, sponsorship agreements, and regulatory documents. .
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more European languages is a significant advantage.
