Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Break exclusive news across the European sports business ecosystem.
- →Cover the business of global events including F1, NBA Europe, Premier League, Wimbledon, the UEFA Champions, Six Nations Rugby, the Ryder Cup, and the Olympic movement.
- →Produce insightful analysis explaining why developments matter to investors, executives, lawyers, sponsors and fans.
- →Collaborate with Sportico reporters in North America on global stories.
- →Appear on podcasts, video programming, conference panels, television, and live events as a subject matter expert.
- →Travel extensively throughout Europe for major sporting events and breaking news.

Requirements
~1 min read- At least 5+ years of reporting experience covering sports business, finance, media, or corporate news.
- Demonstrated ability to break exclusive news.
- Strong understanding of European sports economics and governance.
- Experience covering publicly traded companies, private equity, venture capital, or institutional investment is highly desirable.
- Excellent writing, interviewing, and source development skills.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, legal filings, sponsorship agreements, and regulatory documents. .
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more European languages is a significant advantage.
