Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant in our Guatemala City office, you will play a key role in ensuring local statutory compliance and financial integrity, while partnering closely with our US-based accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a global environment, gain exposure to multinational accounting practices, and directly impact the financial operations of a high-growth tech company.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct exposure to Guatemalan tax regulations and SAT filings
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Experience working with payroll, statutory deductions, and compliance processes

• Strong understanding of:
  • IVA, ISR, and SAT compliance requirements
  • Payroll regulations (IGSS, IRTRA, INTECAP)
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Familiarity with SAT digital platforms (FEL, DECLARAGUATE, BANGUAT) is a plus
• Exposure to US GAAP or multinational accounting environments is preferred
