Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Lead enterprise-wide identity remediation initiatives and manage a team of analysts to eliminate orphaned accounts, stale access, excessive privileges, and unmanaged service accounts, delivering measurable and sustained risk reduction across critical systems.
- →Partner closely with the Head of AIM Governance to translate strategic direction, policy requirements, and risk priorities into scalable remediation and onboarding execution plans.
- →Provide technical oversight and selective hands-on execution across account, entitlement, and privileged access cleanup efforts, ensuring alignment with firm standards and least-privilege principles.
- →Drive service account security improvements, including remediation of clear-text credentials, credential vaulting and rotation, ownership validation, and enforcement of lifecycle controls.
- →Oversee onboarding of applications and privileged accounts into the firm’s Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms, establishing standardized onboarding processes and validation frameworks.
- →Strengthen group and entitlement governance by simplifying complex access structures and aligning them to standardized access models.
- →Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and engineering teams to implement access changes, close control gaps.
- →Oversee operational intake channels and remediation pipelines, ensuring appropriate prioritization, escalation, and stakeholder communication, along with developing repeatable remediation playbooks.
- →Track and report key remediation metrics, risk reduction outcomes, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- →Identify automation opportunities and leverage AI tools and analytics to scale remediation efforts and improve operational efficiency.
- 7+ years of experience in IAM, identity operations, information security, or related technology disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading identity remediation, hygiene, or access risk reduction programs in a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience managing global or distributed teams, including performance management and workload prioritization.
- Strong working knowledge of SailPoint (or equivalent IGA platform), including application onboarding, entitlement management, and remediation workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (e.g., CyberArk or similar), including service account onboarding and credential security practices.
- Deep understanding of least-privilege principles, service account risk management, and administrative access reduction strategies.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews, including executive-level reporting and defensible control evidence.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging automation, analytics, or AI tools to improve identity operations efficiency.
