Job Responsibilities / Job Brief

The Product Specialists team acts as a crucial link between investment teams and investors, focusing on relationship management, strategy and insights communication, business development and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a product manager covering Polymer’s various investment strategies
Develop and maintain marketing materials including pitchbooks, product profiles, white papers, etc.
Prepare regular investment commentaries and reporting for clients and third-party databases
Complete Requests for Proposals, facilitate due diligence and handle ad-hoc investor queries
Coordinate marketing activities in partnership with sales/distribution and external partners
Assist with developing new product initiatives and product positioning efforts with an understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape
Collaborate internally with support functions to ensure alignment and seamless information flow
Ensure strict compliance with relevant rules and regulations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in investment management, equity research or product management
Extensive knowledge of equity markets, valuation models, portfolio management and risk management
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, and self-motivated with a sense of ownership and accountability
Must be a strong team player that can collaborate globally and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)

Good to have

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (written and oral); fluent in Cantonese
MBA or professional designations including CFA, CAIA or FRM
Proficiency in financial tools such as Bloomberg, Nasdaq eVestment and/or Morningstar Direct
