Project Manager plans all phases of commercial construction projects in a timely and cost-effective manner, including risk management, quality and safety. The position is responsible for estimating, budgeting, organizing, scheduling and implementing all assigned projects. Work Environment: - This is a full-time position - Standard hours will fall within Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with some flexibility depending on business needs. - The role varies based on project needs – on average is based 50% in office and 50% on-site of the construction project Duties and Responsibilities: - Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion. Responsible for safety, project planning, estimating and budgeting - Collaborate with the owner, architect, and construction team - Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs - Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations - Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors - Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory - Meet contractual conditions of performance - Review the work progress on daily basis - Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status - Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones - Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses - Analyze, manage and mitigate risks - Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques - Other duties as assigned Requirements Required Skills and Abilities: - Proven working experience in construction management - Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, establish credibility and influence others - Effective communication - Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong Customer focus and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders - Competent to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion - Demonstrate interpersonal and presentation skills for frequent contact with clients and co-workers - Highly developed problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills - Mature leader who maintains a professional appearance and demeanor Benefits Health insurance 401K with company match PTO available
