Inventory Manager

PPAU is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Inventory Manager to oversee organization-wide procurement, supply chain operations, and inventory controls for clinical and administrative supplies. Serving as the primary administrator of the Hybrent system, this role manages the tracking and distribution of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, partnering with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to ensure 340B and regulatory compliance. The Inventory Manager will develop SOPs, conduct site audits, train staff, and optimize supply efficiencies in alignment with PPAU’s mission and operational standards.

Requirements

Training & Education: Train staff on inventory best practices, Hybrent usage, and ordering processes to promote consistency across all clinics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Compliance, Facilities, and IT to resolve supply chain bottlenecks.

Mission & Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA) and represent PPAU’s mission and commitment to equitable care in all interactions.
(Note: Duties may shift based on organizational needs.)
Experience & Education: 3–5 years in inventory management or supply chain logistics (medical/healthcare environment strongly preferred). A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory software (Hybrent preferred) and electronic health records (EPIC preferred). Advanced Excel skills for data tracking are required.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare purchasing, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory compliance (like 340B and pharmaceutical tracking).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to manage data, analyze purchasing trends, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Travel & Logistics: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to local PPAU clinics for site visits and deliveries; requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
