This position combines hands-on patient care with clinical leadership, allowing you to mentor nursing staff, support operational excellence, and make a meaningful impact on patient experiences every day. Position Title: Nurse Supervisor

Reports To: Nursing Director
Responsibilities

Partner with the Nursing Director in recruiting, onboarding, training, and evaluating nursing staff.

Provide supervision, mentorship, and coaching to support staff development and clinical excellence.
- →
Ensure compliance with organizational protocols, patient rights, HIPAA requirements, OSHA standards, and safety procedures.
- →
Provide direct nursing care, including recovery room coverage and support during abortion and medical procedures.
- →
Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and complete required clinical documentation.
- →
Respond to medical emergencies and support providers during procedures and emergency situations.
- →
Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, emergency drills, and staff meetings.
- →
Support after-hours and daytime patient emergency call systems, documenting interactions appropriately in the EMR/EHR.

Provide North Carolina state-mandated informed consent for abortion services in accordance with state law.

Assist with maintaining inventory, emergency equipment logs, and a clean, safe patient care environment.

Serve as Nursing Director designee when needed.

Active RN compact license with the ability to practice in NC, SC, and VA.

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.

BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work both independently and collaboratively.

Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Requirements

Experience in a GYN setting.

Emergency Room (ER) experience.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
