Assistant Machine Operator 2nd Shift

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you’ll help keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently by supporting machine setup, operation, changeovers, and cleanup. This hands-on role is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• →Assist with machine setup, operation, changeovers, and cleanup.
• →Monitor product quality and promptly report concerns.
• →Support machine operators during production and changeovers to maintain efficient workflow.
• →Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for production.
• →Complete required production, quality, and equipment documentation accurately.
• →Submit maintenance requests when equipment concerns are identified.
• →Cross-train on other machines and support team flexibility.
• →Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional responsibilities as business needs require.

• Ability to read and understand safety instructions, work instructions, and production documents in English.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic math involving counts, measurements, and simple calculations.
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing quality work.
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable staying active and working around moving machinery.
• Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team’s success.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll spend most of your shift on your feet, with frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting or moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds. You’ll work around moving mechanical equipment where noise, vibration, and airborne particles may be present. Our facility is not climate controlled, and temperatures can vary significantly throughout the year. Required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, protective footwear, and safety glasses, must be worn in designated production areas.
