About Us
We are a national third‑party logistics (3PL) fulfillment company headquartered in Las Vegas with a remote‑first, collaborative culture. We combine the pace and problem‑solving mindset of a growing business with a strong emphasis on accountability, trust, and doing things the right way.
Our culture values ownership over hand‑holding, continuous improvement over “that’s how it’s always been done and clear communication. People here are encouraged to ask questions, raise issues early, and help improve how work gets done — not just complete tasks.
The Finance team plays an active role across the organization, partnering closely with operations, technology, and leadership. We invest in people who want to grow, take responsibility, and build durable processes that support the business and each other.
Accounting accuracy, discipline, and strong processes are critical in this environment. The Finance team plays a central role in supporting growth, improving visibility, and ensuring financial data flows cleanly from operations to leadership. We are continuing to invest in people, systems, and processes as the business evolves.
Why This Role Matters
We’re hiring a hands‑on Assistant Controller to play a central role in running the day‑to‑day accounting operation and delivering a clean, timely, and reliable month‑end close.
This is not a purely review‑oriented role. It’s hands‑on, operational, and influential, with meaningful visibility to Finance leadership. You’ll work closely with the Controller, lead Staff Accountants, and help shape how accounting work gets done across a multi‑location operation.
For the right candidate, this is a Controller‑in‑training opportunity — offering real ownership, increasing responsibility, and exposure well beyond routine accounting tasks.
What You’ll Do
Own the Close & Reporting
Drive execution of the month‑end close, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Review reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activity
Step in to resolve issues and clear bottlenecks during close
Perform or oversee accruals, estimates, depreciation, and lease accounting (ASC 842)
Review balance sheet and P&L activity for accuracy and reasonableness
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reporting
Lead & Develop the Team
Supervise and develop two Staff Accountants
Provide clear direction, review feedback, and day‑to‑day guidance
Partner closely with the Controller to keep accounting operations running smoothly
Analysis, Cash & Controls
Perform variance analysis versus budget and forecast and help explain results
Support cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and working capital reporting
Assist with lender reporting and credit line compliance
Maintain strong documentation and support audit readiness
Support compliance activities including sales tax, licenses, and related filings
Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures
Improve How Work Gets Done
Gain broad exposure across AP, AR, payroll, and the full close cycle as a backup resource
Support annual 1099 preparation and vendor inquiries
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve close efficiency
Support automation and system enhancements and partner with IT on data integrity
What Success Looks Like
Month‑end close runs smoothly, accurately, and on time
Balance sheet accounts are clean, well‑supported, and easy to review
Staff Accountants are producing stronger, more consistent work
Accounting processes are clearer, more efficient, and better documented
Finance leadership trusts you to own close execution during busy periods
Qualifications

High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
