Registered Nurse TEAM LDR-OR SERVICE LINE(OR EXP REQUIRED) Operating Room Miami Valley Hospital FT, 7a-3:30p, 80 hours/pay The Team Leader (TL) for the OR Service Line in Surgery hasresponsibilities for a dynamic functional area of patient services and mustcollaborate with others to achieve strategic objectives and unit-based goals.The TL is responsible for providing overall coordination, direction, andstrategic planning, for the OR Service Line. The TL works closely with all surgeons and surgical staff to develop processesto meet the Instrument and Inventory needs of the physicians and surgical staffto ensure safe and quality delivery of care to our patient customers while inthe surgical environment. The TL also works closely with the Medical,Anesthesia, and Surgery Directors to establish the systems and structuresneeded to support the delivery of quality patient care. This position reports to the Nurse Manager ofSurgery and works collaboratively with other members of the Surgical ServicesManagement Team, Nursing Administration, Anesthesia Providers, Surgeons,Hospital Administration, and PHP- System Administration. Education: BSN required Licensure: ValidOhio Registered Nurse License Membership: AORN Certification: CurrentCPR certification, CNOR preferred Experience: Minimum3 years experience as circulating RN in the Operating Room. Minimum 2 yearsexperience in Progress Leadership. Skills/Other: Excellentleadership and decision making skills. Demonstrates a full range of highly effective communication andproblem-solving skills.
