Elite Performance Manager - Psychology

The Premier League’s Football department is recruiting for the exciting new role of Elite Performance Manager - Psychology. The role is within the Premier League Elite Performance team, who support the Football Department’s objectives by driving and supporting world-leading player health, performance support and pathway management in the Professional Game.

The Elite Performance team have placed increasing development and investment in the area of Psychology over recent years, including cross-departmental initiatives in the ‘shared space’ of mental health and wellbeing. The role will enable further growth and enablement within the discipline of Sport Psychology, driving the goal of informing Club practice and elevating the game via policy development, as we pursue our strategic objectives.

We have a wide variety of responsibilities. These include organising the competition and its Handbook as well as managing the centralised broadcast and commercial rights. The work we do in conjunction with the Clubs also goes far beyond the 90 minutes. We support and provide a framework for youth development, we protect the organisation’s intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues.
