The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:  Review existing operational data, investigate open issues, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams on new and ongoing projects.  Contribute to the design of tools and infrastructure needed to process and analyze large volumes of data.  Build data pipelines and assist with monitoring and troubleshooting operational or data quality issues.  Support the team with root cause analysis and thorough resolution of defects when problems arise.  Explore other areas of interest such as Data Governance, Data Security, Data Science, or Master Data Management.  Maintain clear and organized documentation of processes, data models, and engineering solutions.  Perform other data-related duties as required.  The ideal candidate for this position will have: Currently enrolled in (final year or term) or recently graduated from a Data Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent technical program.  Working knowledge of SQL and Python, with foundational understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration concepts.  Some exposure to database, data warehouse, or data lake solutions through coursework, personal projects, or prior work experience.  Familiarity with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Purview.  Strong analytical and organizational skills, with clear written and verbal communication abilities.    Additional assets for this position include: Exposure to or hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative AI tools.  Self-motivated, curious, and able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.  Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team.  Should this excellent opportunity interest you, please submit your resume, including salary expectations.
