What You'll Do:
You'll play a critical role on active job sites by:
- Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, trenchers, and drilling machines
- Performing boring, digging, and trenching for underground infrastructure
- Installing conduit and underground traffic systems
- Assisting with installation of traffic signals, streetlights, and related equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and utility drawings
- Working collaboratively with a team to complete civil construction projects
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Following all safety procedures and upholding company values
- Demonstrating reliable attendance and a strong commitment to the job
What We're Looking For:
-
Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL (company assistance provided)
- Traffic control/flagging certification (ATSSA, IMSA, or similar) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience with underground utilities, drilling, or piping is a plus
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Comfortable performing physical labor (lifting, digging, standing for extended periods)
- Interest in construction, equipment operation, or traffic control
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety
This position requires working in the elements, up to and including all seasons and all indoor and outdoor environments. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when working in specific environments.
The individual must have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, squat, kneel, sit, use feet and hands for grasping, pushing and pulling.
