You operate with full autonomy across your accounts, navigating sophisticated stakeholder environments and driving both strategic direction and business growth. You are a trusted partner to senior client leaders—including SVP and C-level stakeholders—and play a critical role in shaping how clients think about their business, not just how work gets executed. You balance big-picture thinking with the ability to step in and unblock challenges, ensuring both your clients and your teams succeed.

  • Lead and oversee large, complex portfolios of business, ensuring delivery, growth, and client satisfaction

  • Build and manage high-performing teams, mentoring and developing 1–3 direct or indirect reports

  • Anticipate potential challenges across accounts and proactively develop solutions to mitigate risk

  • Drive strategic client conversations, shaping how clients think about their business and marketing approach

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders, including SVP and C-level contacts

  • Expand relationships beyond marketing teams, engaging cross-functional client partners to drive broader impact

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell services, contributing to sustained business growth

  • Forecast revenue and oversee financial performance, ensuring alignment with client budgets and internal targets

  • Partner with clients to understand long-term roadmaps and recommend solutions with clear strategic trade-offs

  • Provide high-level, actionable feedback to internal teams, representing multiple stakeholder perspectives and elevating work quality

  • Step in to resolve team or client challenges, unblocking issues and ensuring forward momentum

  • Lead and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), including presenting strategic insights and guiding future planning

  • Support MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) processes as needed, ensuring compliance within complex engagements

  • Delegate work effectively across the team, aligning responsibilities with skill level and development goals

  • Lead and develop a small team of junior and mid-level team members, fostering growth and accountability

  • Guide financial planning discussions, helping clients prioritize spend and manage future budget allocation

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team

  • Step into executional or tactical work when necessary to maintain continuity and delivery

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field plus 12+ years of experience in account management, client services,  in a pharmaceuticals or life sciences environment

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead large, complex accounts with multiple stakeholders and workstreams

  • Show advanced strategic thinking, with the ability to influence client direction and business decisions

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior and executive-level client stakeholders

  • Exhibit excellent leadership skills, including team development, coaching, and performance management

  • Delegate effectively, balancing team growth with business needs and avoiding over- or under-management

  • Navigate ambiguity and complexity with confidence, providing clear direction to teams

  • Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and client organizations

  • Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges early

  • Show a willingness to take on broader leadership responsibilities, including managing larger teams or business units
