Senior Accountant (Hybrid – Denver, CO)
A growing, global technology organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support international accounting operations, statutory reporting, and month-end close activities across multiple entities. This role will partner closely with accounting leadership, external auditors, tax, treasury, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
International Accounting & Compliance
- Support the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across multiple international jurisdictions
- Coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors on local compliance and reporting requirements
- Assist with annual statutory audits and ensure timely completion
- Monitor local accounting regulation changes and support ongoing compliance efforts
- Maintain reporting calendars and ensure deadlines are met
- Support reconciliation efforts between US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP reporting requirements
- Serve as a key point of contact for international accounting matters
Month-End Close & Operational Accounting
- Support month-end close activities for international entities and payroll accounting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist with integration of newly acquired entities into accounting processes and reporting structures
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
- Mentor and support junior accounting team members
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with multinational accounting and statutory reporting
- Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS exposure preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Combination of public accounting and industry experience
- Experience working with outsourced providers or shared service environments
- Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
Compensation
Salary Range: $125,000 – $135,000 annually
