We provide a full portfolio of Process Automation Control Systems, Valves and Control Devices, and related technologies and services to a range of customers—in the Life Sciences, Chemical, Power, Refining, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Paper, Metals, and other industries, as well as commercial enterprises and campus facilities. The primary responsibilities will be to assemble control valves, regulators, automated valves, and similar material in support of the Proconex sales organization. This position would, upon proper training, be required to perform diagnostic evaluation, calibration, installation, and other commissioning functions of this material at customer locations. Other duties include but are not limited to instrument calibration, potential assembly of skidded material and other mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

→Assemble control valves, regulators, automated valve assemblies and similar material in support of the Proconex sales organization.
→Perform diagnostic evaluation, calibration, installation, and other commissioning functions of this material at customer locations.
→Perform instrument calibrations and assist in assembly of skidded material.
→Collaborate with sales engineers, customer service associates, and other personnel to maintain customer satisfaction.
→Prioritize safety protocols to safeguard employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
→Always maintain a clean and secure work environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma required. Trade school and/or other technical training preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred but will train on premises.
Lifting up to 50 pounds.

Company-provided PPE is required in designated areas within the shop and in the field. Access to customer sites may involve strict safety protocols; therefore, this position requires the employee to meet all safety requirements, including participation in the federally regulated drug testing program. Additionally, because some job duties may involve operating company vehicles or driving to customer locations, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
