Responsibilities

→Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
→Develop front-end logic, interactive features, and client-side functionality using JavaScript and modern front-end development practices.
→Implement reusable components, UI patterns, and front-end architecture aligned with modern best practices.
→Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, mockups, user flows, and design concepts into functional interfaces.
→Build and update web pages and templates using CMS platforms such as TeamSite, Drupal, WordPress, TWIG, or similar tools, ensuring sites meet security, accessibility, and branding standards.
→Develop and maintain business solutions and workflow applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
→Apply established design systems, such as USWDS, to create consistent and accessible user experiences.
→Support content updates, site maintenance, and integration of third-party tools or APIs.
→Apply UI/UX principles to improve usability, navigation, and overall user experience.
→Participate in user testing, feedback sessions, and iterative design improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
4+ years of experience in front-end or web development, including experience applying UI/UX principles.
Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or other modern front-end frameworks.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Node.js.
Experience with one or more CMS platforms (e.g., TeamSite, Drupal, WordPress, TWIG).
Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or Power Query.
Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and modern web development practices.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of and experience applying Section 508 accessibility standards.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
Ability to obtain a public trust.

Experience supporting VA or other federal healthcare programs.
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Experience developing Power BI dashboards, including DAX and Power Query.
Basic understanding of DevOps or CI/CD workflows.
Familiarity with SQL and data-driven applications.

The posted salary range represents PFS's good-faith estimate for this role. Actual compensation offered will be determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate's education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; internal equity; geographic location; and contract and organizational requirements. PFS is committed to fair, consistent, and equitable compensation practices across the organization, and offers are calibrated to maintain internal pay equity while remaining competitive in the external market.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000
