  • Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The Marketing Department delivers high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and is recognised for engaging some of Australia’s brightest students. The team values innovation in teaching and is particularly interested in educators who can contribute across a broad range of marketing and entrepreneurship disciplines.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate marketing programs, including unit coordination and online delivery.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement, ensuring contemporary, industry-aligned learning experiences.
  • Supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students, supporting high-quality research training and academic outcomes.
  • Apply innovative teaching methods, assessment design, and digital learning approaches to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Participate in School, Faculty and University governance, including committees and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain industry and professional engagement, representing UWA through partnerships, conferences and professional associations.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing academic culture.

  • A PhD in Marketing or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching in higher education, including curriculum development and assessment design.
  • Proven ability to use innovative and inclusive teaching practices, including digital or blended learning approaches.
  • Experience supervising or supporting research students (Honours, Masters or PhD) is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to academic service, governance, and industry engagement.
