The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations) (DVCO) leads UWA’s operational and transformation agenda, bringing together key enabling functions to support the University’s academic and research mission. The portfolio drives service excellence, sustainability, and innovation through strategic operations, digital enablement, and organisational improvement.
Within this portfolio, the University Transformation team delivers major change and improvement initiatives, provides commercial and business analysis to support decision making, and enables the University to adopt new technologies and ways of working that enhance the staff and student experience.
About the Role
~1 min read- Provide strategic analysis, modelling, and decision-support across the DVCO portfolio, delivering evidence-based insights that improve prioritisation, investment, governance, and executive decision-making.
- Lead the development of high-quality reporting, dashboards, briefings, business cases, and governance materials, translating complex data and competing priorities into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Partner with multidisciplinary stakeholders to strengthen portfolio management, transformation delivery, risk identification, continuous improvement, and data-driven organisational outcomes.

- You have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- You have substantial experience in an analytical role in strategy, transformation, PMO, consulting, finance, policy, or a related field in a complex organisation.
- You have proven ability to provide decision-making support in relation to prioritisation, portfolio management, business case development, performance reporting, or investment analysis.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, analyse data, and develop insights from incomplete information.
- You are a values-driven professional who strives for excellence, acts with integrity, embraces innovation, collaborates effectively and champions equity, inclusion and respect for others.
