The Dietician is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nutrition care plans for patients and clients to promote health, manage medical conditions, and prevent nutrition-related diseases. The role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based dietary guidance tailored to patient needs.
The Dietician will support clinical nutrition services, community health education, and wellness programs while ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate patients’ dietary needs.
- Develop individualized meal plans based on medical conditions, age, lifestyle, and nutritional goals.
- Provide dietary counseling for patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans accordingly.
- Provide one-on-one nutrition education sessions.
- Conduct group nutrition workshops and health seminars.
- Develop educational materials on healthy eating and disease prevention.
- Promote preventive nutrition programs within the community.
- Design balanced menus for hospitals, clinics, schools, or wellness facilities (where applicable).
- Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and dietary requirements.
- Monitor food preparation practices to ensure nutritional quality and food safety compliance.
- Ensure adherence to national nutrition guidelines and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Stay updated on current nutrition research and best practices.
Requirements

- Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in clinical or community nutrition.
- Experience in hospital or wellness center setting is an advantage.
