This is a HYBRID role - onsite Tuesday-Thursday in Maple Plain, MN.
As the Manager of Accounting Operations, you will lead critical financial operations that keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. You will develop teams across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, and Credit & Collections while identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance performance, and drive continuous improvement. Your leadership will play a key role in optimizing cash flow, improving operational effectiveness, and supporting company success.
Salary range: $95,000 - $142,400/year
Lead Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments while delivering an exceptional internal and supplier experience.
Drive Accounts Receivable performance by optimizing collections, resolving escalations, and improving cash flow.
Oversee invoicing operations to ensure accurate billing, timely customer communication, and seamless revenue processes.
Lead Credit & Collections strategies that balance customer growth with effective risk management and strong financial results.
Develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing Accounting Operations team across AP, AR, Invoicing, and Credit & Collections.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and business leaders to solve challenges and improve operational performance.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes, enhance controls, and increase efficiency.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and support audit readiness across accounting operations.
Support month-end close activities and provide reporting that drives informed business decisions.
Lead projects that modernize systems, strengthen processes, and elevate the customer and employee experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience
5+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably managing employees directly
4+ years of accounting experience
Must be able to work and communicate well within all levels of the organization
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and flexibility to change is essential
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees in a professional, personable, and effective manner
Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Independent worker and analytical thinking with an ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problem
ERP systems background with a Microsoft Dynamics implementation preferred
Finance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
