Plumber Fabricator

We’re building cutting-edge aquaculture and algae-production systems and are seeking skilled Plumber Fabricators to help fabricate, assemble, and install our bioreactor and facility components.

These roles suit plumbers with some fabrication experience who technically capable workers. You'll be day to day hands on and provide you expert knowledge into implementing practical and efficient plumbing and fabrication solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and installation of bioreactors, pipework, fittings, valves, and mechanical components.
• Perform plumbing work including cutting, joining, sealing, and pressure-testing pipe systems (PVC, HDPE, stainless).
• Interpret basic drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively (saws, drills, grinders, etc.).
• Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and tolerances.
• Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting, drilling, and light welding (if skilled).
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow all safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with technicians, fabricators, and engineers to complete build tasks efficiently.
• Support other workshop or site-based work as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Trade Plumber qualified would be ideal but not strictly necessary
• Good understanding of plumbing systems (PVC, HDPE, stainless, pumps, valves, fittings).
• Ability to read basic technical drawings.
• Plastic welding would be advantageous but not essential
• Experience in fabrication of plastic, metal or timber
• Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and take direction.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a small, fast-moving team.
