Schedule: Full-Time, 7-on/7-off (Shift: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Week is Monday - Sunday)

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join an employed position within Ascension St. Vincent’s flagship location.

• →High-Acuity Clinical Exposure: Practice at a premier Level 1 trauma center and 800+ bed flagship facility, covering diverse adult units including the burn center and the new brain and spine center.
• →Drive Clinical Excellence: Manage a manageable daily census of 15–16 patients, focusing on high-quality rounding while a dedicated admissions team handles intake.
• →Collaborative Team Environment: Join a massive, growing team of over 80 providers working within 22–23 physician teams daily, ensuring a supportive peer network.
• →Enhance Patient Outcomes through Specialization: Benefit from a closed ICU model supported by dedicated intensivists, allowing you to focus on specialized medical floors.

• →Requirements: Must be MD/DO board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis (86th Street) is our flagship 800+ bed facility and a Level 1 Trauma Center. It serves as a regional hub with 8 Centers of Excellence, including the Heart Center, Transplant Center, and the Lucas Family Brain & Spine Hospital. As a comprehensive medical destination, it also houses a dedicated Burn Center and is recognized for its advanced clinical capabilities across all adult specialties.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• →Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• →Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• →Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

• Internal Medicine Focus: While rare exceptions are made for FM, the team strongly prefers IM-trained candidates.
• New Grads Welcome: We are open to considering motivated new graduates looking to start their careers in a high-volume academic environment.
• Experience: Previous hospitalist experience is considered a plus.
