Pulse CYP CBT Therapist

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Service: Private - Children & Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies

Contract Type: Flexible / Sessional 

Hours: Monday-Friday 4pm - 9pm, Weekends 8am-6pm

This service is expanding its Children and Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies service, delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health support to children, young people and families across the UK. The service is open 7 days per week and operates 8am-10pm. 

As a CBT Therapist, you will provide structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions to children and young people experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.

• →Deliver high-quality, evidence-based CBT interventions to children and young people
• →Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments, formulation, and risk management
• →Provide therapeutic interventions via remote and/or face-to-face sessions
• →Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including CWPs, Psychologists, and Family Therapist's
• →Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service requirements
• →Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality and clinical governance frameworks
• →Engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing CPD

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• BABCP Accredited or Registered CBT Therapist
• Completed CYP IAPT Pathway training (High Intensity CBT for Children & Young People)
• Demonstrable experience delivering CBT interventions to children and young people
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, safeguarding and clinical governance

Applications that do not meet the above criteria (BABCP + CYP IAPT Pathway) will not be considered.

• Experience working within CAMHS, NHS, or equivalent services
• Experience delivering remote therapy
• Experience working with neurodiverse populations or complex presentations
