We are seeking Heads of Revenue Growth - highly accomplished sales leaders who will be responsible for driving revenue expansion, strengthening our market presence and cultivating long-term client partnerships within the marketing, media and advertising landscape. The ideal candidates will bring a strategic leadership, self-drive and entrepreneurial mindset, along with a proven track record of combining sales leadership with marketing innovation to deliver measurable business impacts. The Head of Revenue Growth will report directly to the Director of Sales and will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities to sell our digital marketing services portfolio and defining strategies to expand the company's revenue. You will lead and guide the creation of customized and innovative solutions to meet clients’ specific goals and needs. In this high-impact role, you will not simply 'close and leave.' For your top-tier Enterprise accounts, you will act as the Executive Sponsor, retaining commercial ownership post-signature. While our Account Management team handles day-to-day delivery, you will remain the primary strategic partner, ensuring that the vision you sold is realized and that the commercial relationship deepens over time. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Strategy Identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities while developing strategic approaches to pitch innovative media and digital solutions. Develop tailored proposals using data-driven insights to align offerings with client objectives. Develop and implement a business development strategic plan. Achieve a monthly sales gross profit target. Analyzing prospective clients’ digital footprint to develop digital & content strategies for their businesses. Conduct pitches and presentations to persuade potential customers that Pulse is the preferred partner to meet their corporate goals. Client Relationship Management Act as the Commercial Steward for your acquired top-tier accounts. You will move beyond transactional sales to own the long-term C-level relationship, ensuring Pulse remains their trusted strategic partner. Drive 'Land and Expand' strategies. Because you retain ownership of your key accounts, you will actively monitor their campaign success to identify immediate opportunities for upselling and cross-selling new Pulse solutions. Drive relationships with decision-makers at tier-1 companies across Nigeria. Work with the Account Management team to ensure services sold are delivered to clients to maximize client retention. Serve as the senior point of escalation for your key accounts. You will override and direct the Account Manager when necessary to resolve critical blockers, ensuring client satisfaction remains high. Sales Execution & Revenue Growth Follow a structured sales process to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets. Pitch and close deals for customized digital and media solutions that meet business goals. Collaboration & Project Delivery Direct and guide the Account Management and Project teams assigned to your clients. You are the architect of the deal; you will ensure the delivery team executes according to the commercial strategy you defined. Ensure smooth communication across departments, focusing on integrated account management. Bridge the gap between Sales promises and Delivery reality. You will stay in the loop on all major client conversations to ensure seamless alignment between the sales pitch and the final output. Brand Competitiveness & Market Presence Lead initiatives to strengthen Pulse’s brand positioning in the digital and media ecosystem. Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and best practices within Nigeria and across Africa. Represent Pulse at events and network, and build relationships with potential clients and partners. Industry Awareness & Innovation Stay ahead of digital and media industry trends, tools and sales techniques. Integrate marketing strategies into sales efforts to maintain a competitive edge. Develop Pulse content campaigns & product offerings to grow revenues. Stay up to date of the latest trends, industry issues and solutions, to help ensure that Pulse is always innovating with great client solutions. Team Lead Responsibilities Perform weekly checks of the team’s inputs into the CRM to ensure full visibility into the sales pipeline. Review proposals developed by members of the team. Manage team learning sessions and enable knowledge sharing on an ongoing basis with the Sales teams internationally. Manage the onboarding and training of new team members. Lend support and direction to help team members realize their full potential. Ensure that the defined sales process is followed always. Communicate effectively with all team members and maintain strong, trusting relationships with all internal collaborators. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of proven success in senior sales leadership or business development roles, ideally within Digital Media, Creative, Marketing, SaaS or Advertising industries. Strong expertise in digital marketing and ability to integrate marketing strategies into sales growth. Demonstrated ability to meet consistently and exceed financial sales targets. Proven track record in developing revenue growth strategies and successfully executing them. Experience in budget preparation, forecasting and financial reporting to guide sales decisions. Ability to analyze sales performance data and ROI to optimize business outcomes. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho CRM desirable). Excellent networking, negotiation and relationship-building skills with key clients. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. A strong portfolio of previous sales-led or marketing-driven projects demonstrating measurable business impact. Proven experience in Key Account Management (KAM) or Executive Sponsorship. You must demonstrate an ability to not only close large accounts but to nurture and grow them over 12-24 months.
