Could It Be You? At Questrade, we believe getting a mortgage should be simple and transparent. We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Senior Mortgage Agent to join our team on the front lines of our growing mortgage brokerage. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients across digital channels (phone, email, and live chat), guiding them through their home financing journey from initial inquiry to closing. You will assess financial needs, pre-qualify applicants, and guide clients through underwriting with complete clarity and exceptional service. Partnering closely with internal operations, tech teams, and lender networks, you will also help refine our digital tools and streamline workflows—continuously challenging traditional banking models to give Canadians a better choice in home financing.   Need more details? Keep reading… In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Client Consultation & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact via phone, email, and live chat, answering inbound inquiries and proactively engaging prospective applicants to guide them through their mortgage journey. Needs-Based Financial Assessment: Conduct thorough intake assessments to analyze income, credit profiles, and overall financial goals, matching clients with suitable mortgage products. Product & Rate Transparency: Educate clients on mortgage products, rates, lending criteria, and documentation requirements so they feel informed and confident at every step. Pre-Approval & Documentation: Pre-qualify and pre-approve applicants, efficiently gathering and verifying required financial and property documentation to prepare clean, compliant files for submission. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal underwriters, lenders, and closing teams to resolve conditions, clear operational roadblocks, and ensure timely file completion. Platform & Process Optimization: Provide actionable feedback to technology, product, and operations teams to refine point-of-sale (POS) systems, CRM workflows, and digital client tools as the brokerage scales. Compliance & Pipeline Tracking: Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in the CRM while ensuring strict adherence to provincial mortgage regulations, lending guidelines, and compliance standards.   So are YOU our next Senior Mortgage Agent? You are if you… Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree/diploma in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. Possess a Valid Level 2 Mortgage Agent License in Ontario. Multi-Jurisdiction Licensing (Alberta/BC) preferred. Bring 2+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Agent or Specialist, preferably within a digital-first or high-volume environment. Demonstrate proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), point-of-sale tools (Finmo, Filogix, Velocity), telephony systems, and digital communication platforms. Maintain a willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet client needs.   Compensation Information: Base salary: $75,000 + Commissions The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
