Project Manager – Banking Operations Payments

You will report to, Justine, Head of Banking Operations Payments, who leads the team responsible for ensuring smooth and secure payment operations across all Qonto markets. Your manager brings extensive experience in banking operations and control frameworks, and is committed to building a robust, scalable control environment while developing team members' expertise. 

🏅 About You

• Experience: You have 3–5+ years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Project Management, Consulting, Data, or Product, ideally within a financial services, fintech, or payments context.

• Project Management Mastery: You excel at structuring work, aligning diverse stakeholders, driving timelines, and following up until absolute closure.

• Data & Technical Skills: You have solid SQL skills (confident writing/adapting queries and building simple dashboards) and make data-driven decisions to translate insights into actions.

• Operational Rigor: You maintain high standards regarding operational risk, compliance, and documentation. Experience in internal control, audit follow-up, or regulatory projects is a strong plus.

• Languages: You are fluent in French (spoken and written) to communicate clearly and concisely.

• Bonus points: Experience in specific payment areas (Cards, SEPA/SWIFT, Debt Collection), familiarity with Forest-like back-office tools, or pragmatic exposure to GenAI tools (prompting, retrieval, summarization).
