Tank Welder Helper

Assist tank welder and mechanics with pressure testing, drying out tanks, repair tank containers and buffing inside of tank as needed.

• →Pressure test tanks, drain and dry out tanks
• →Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets, and gauges
• →Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• →Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
• →Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
• →Lubricate and clean parts
• →Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• →Use hand tools and power tools
• →Buff Tanks as needed

• Candidates will possess a mechanical background
• Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks
• Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
