## Company: Qualcomm China ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Applications Engineering General Summary: GENERAL SUMMARY: * Work on model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation * Optimize models for on-device / edge environments, including performance, accuracy, memory, and latency * Collaborate with system, platform, and application teams to integrate GenAI into products * Analyze and troubleshoot accuracy, latency, and stability issues in deployed models * Work closely with customers to enable, optimize, and deploy GenAI/AI solutions on Qualcomm platforms PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML software development, including large language models (LLMs), model optimization, and deployment. * Strong Python/C/C++ programming and debugging skills * Be familiar with modern GenAI and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, and related deployment toolchains. * Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLM,VLM, with a solid understanding of inference frameworks. * Has solid experience in model quantization(INT8/INT4) and model deployment on on edge device. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex system-level issues. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
