OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. ## Job Description ## Test & Device Automation team is responsible for creating automation test tools for Mobile, MDM, Compute, Auto, XR and VR. The varieties of automation tools runs on host and devices. ## ## Tasks involved can be one or more of the following: * ## Participate in SW design discussions, help perform design analysis, evolution and sustenance of SW interfaces, develop, and optimize software solutions that exercise the Automotive capability of the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. * ## identify end-to-end use cases that incorporate new technologies and clearly identify SW impacts and risks. * ## Identify the new features and APIs changes coming-in for next Android version and incorporate them in automation tools. Same is applicable for Windows, XR, LA, MDM also. ## ## Preferred ## Programming Languages: C++/C#/Android/Java ## Scripting Language: Python ## Stack Knowledge: Bluetooth, WIFI ## Proficient in Data Structures/Programming. ## Good Software Design Skills. ## Understands basics of ML models is preferred. ## Experience/ knowledge working in one of the OS ( Android / QNX – Preferred) ## App development Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
