As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. Job Description * Strong hands‑on experience in Physical Design flow including floorplanning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing, and physical verification * Good understanding of timing closure using PrimeTime/Tempus across setup/hold, OCV/POCV, clocking, and STA signoff * Experience working on advanced technology nodes and IP‑level PD delivery, including block ownership from netlist‑to‑GDS * Ability to debug and resolve timing, congestion, DRC/LVS, EM/IR, and integration‑related issues * Experience with leading EDA tools for PD and signoff (place & route, STA, physical verification) * Familiarity with Mixed‑Signal / High‑speed IPs and ability to collaborate closely with FE, CAD, STA, and signoff teams * Working knowledge of Tcl/Python scripting for flow automation, analysis, and debug efficiency * Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple programs under tight schedules * Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset, with ability to drive closure across cross‑functional stakeholders Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
