## Company: Qualcomm Incorporated ## Job Area: Facilities & Security Group, Facilities & Security Group > Heating, Ventilation & A/C General Summary: ### Position Overview The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance and repair activities to support the safe, efficient, and professional operation of commercial facilities. This role requires hands-on technical expertise across interior and exterior building systems, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. ### ### Key Responsibilities * Perform general maintenance and repair work in commercial buildings, including both interior and exterior systems. * Complete repairs and installations involving drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and suspended ceilings. * Perform plumbing-related tasks such as piping repairs, fixture installation and repair, and drain snaking. * Adjust and repair interior and exterior doors. * Hang fixtures, equipment, and other items on walls in accordance with safety and building standards. * Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools. * Use basic computer systems to receive assignments, document work, and communicate updates. * Participate in a 24/7 after-hours on-call rotation as required. * Travel to multiple job sites using a personal vehicle to complete daily assignments. * Represent the company professionally while delivering high-quality customer service. ### ### Required Skills and Experience * Proven general maintenance experience; commercial building experience is preferred. * Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in maintenance and repair work. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. * Basic computer proficiency to navigate internal systems and tools. * Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record. ### ### Preferred / Additional Skills * Ability to read and interpret building blueprints is a plus. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ### ### Education Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent required. ### ### Early-Career Candidates * This position is open to new or recent college graduates. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $24.23 - $36.35 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
