As a Qualcomm Customer Engineer, you will collaborate with leading application vendors to integrate advanced AI models, ensuring they operate efficiently on powerful NPU engines built into Qualcomm chipsets. This position will expose you to Qualcomm’s cutting-edge CPU, GPU and NPU features, and ML/AI acceleration needed for the industry. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. or * Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field Preferred Qualifications: * 10+ years of experience in SW design, development on embedded platforms * Strong programming skills in C/C++ & Python. * Knowledge of Compute DSPs, Hexagon OS, FastRPC is plus * Knowledge of QNX, Yocto Linux, Android OS is plus * Experience with JTAG debugging, GDB, crash analysis is plus * Fast learner, with strong technical background, problem solution experience and customer focus * Experience in a customer facing role is a plus Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Support Compute DSPs, FastRPC on Automotive platforms for AI/ML and related workloads to run ADAS, GenAI usecases * Interact with regional customer facing teams to drive customer projects * Participate in cross department initiatives & activities to solve technical problems with cross-functional team. * Contributing towards the continuous development & innovation of tools, technology and user experience * Develops new and innovative ideas for a product or feature area. * Drives triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to team members. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. • 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $108,000.00 - $158,000.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
