Senior Engineer: Electroacoustics Engineer (Audio Systems, Sr Eng)

## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Engineering General Summary: Key Responsibilities \- validate audio signal processing and machine learning solutions for diverse Qualcomm products. \- Conduct acoustic analysis/assessments and validate product designs through measurement and simulation. \- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on acoustic design integration and product development. \- Create performance reports and provide actionable sound quality recommendations. \- Design and conduct audio listening experiments, including statistical analysis. \- Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in Acoustics. Minimum Qualifications \- Strong foundation in signal processing, acoustic theory, and electroacoustic fundamentals. \- Experience with audio signal modeling and/or system tuning. \- Experience implementing and managing electroacoustic laboratories. \- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Desired Qualifications \- Working knowledge of audio processing for wearables, such as ANC, Transparency, Conversation Focus and speech enhancement” \- Familiarity with ApX and HEAD Acoustics for acoustic measurement and analysis. \- Statistical analysis skills \- Knowledge of electroacoustic standards, such as 3GPP, ETSI, ITU-T, and CTIA. \- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for audio analysis and simulation. \- Experience with FEA/BEM methods and simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL) for acoustic design. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
