Test Engineer (Up to Senior Staff)

## Company: Qualcomm China ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Test Engineering General Summary: Responsibilities: * Independently own robotic ROS / SLAM / perception feature testing, including test plan, test design, execution, bug analysis, and closure tracking. * Research and define the scope, metrics, and methodology of a robotics performance database (e.g. SLAM KPIs). Own end-to-end execution, including data collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting. * Continuously improve test efficiency by automation/tools Skill Requirements: * Solid experience in robotics software testing, with exposure to areas such as ROS, SLAM, perception, navigation. * Experience of Python is required. * Good understanding of performance testing and benchmarking methodologies (CPU/GPU/DSP/memory/latency). * Ability to work independently and take full ownership of test areas and projects. * Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. * Strong English skills in reading, writing, and technical communication. * Experience in project-level ownership or leading test initiatives is a strong plus. * BS 6+ or MS 3+ experience of embedded products software testing. Education Requirements: * BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communication Engineering. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. • 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
