We are seeking experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support maintenance operations in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, production equipment, and automated controls that support daily operations.

Successful candidates will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with industrial equipment, and the ability to maintain production systems safely and efficiently.

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems used in manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot AC and DC motors, electrical controls, PLC systems, drives, and industrial equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, cranes, mobile equipment, and facility systems.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and operational checks to identify abnormalities and prevent downtime.
  • Service motors, pumps, cranes, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment as required.
  • Install, modify, and maintain electronically controlled equipment and automated production systems.
  • Assist with programmable control systems, distribution equipment, and operator control panels.
  • Balance electrical loads and install or modify complex circuits.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools including digital voltmeters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, recorders, and related testing equipment.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain maintenance records, repair documentation, and material usage reports.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams when troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and industry standards while performing electrical work.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Successful completion of an electrical aptitude or entrance examination.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience; 5 or more years preferred.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Understanding of shop mathematics and the ability to work from drawings, charts, specifications, and precision measuring tools.
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical drives, motor controls, NFPA 70E standards, and high-voltage power systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with common electrical maintenance tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
