We are looking for an organized and detail-focused Project Coordinator to help manage high-volume configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship manufacturing programs.
This role follows orders through the complete production cycle, from initial entry through shipment and closeout. You’ll work closely with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, logistics, and other internal teams to keep projects moving and identify potential delays early.
- Coordinate CTO and quick-ship orders throughout the manufacturing and delivery process.
- Review sales orders to confirm configurations, requirements, and order information are complete and accurate.
- Monitor key milestones such as material availability, manufacturing progress, testing, and shipment.
- Keep project and order information current in ERP and project management systems.
- Communicate regularly with production, supply chain, quality, shipping, and other internal groups.
- Provide customers with timely order status information and communicate schedule changes.
- Identify orders that may be at risk and escalate concerns before they affect delivery.
- Assist with shipping coordination, logistics, documentation, and customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports.
- Help improve processes related to order tracking, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Support other project and operations activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities may change.
- Strong follow-through, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Background in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing.
- Exposure to power distribution products or industrial equipment.
- Experience coordinating freight, shipments, and logistics for manufactured products.
- CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification.
