Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing Product & Tech team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with fellow data engineers and cross-functional teams to build and maintain a solid data infrastructure that powers insights across the company. You'll play a key role in improving our data reliability, structure, and availability, helping us scale effectively as we expand our global presence.

  To build, scale and maintain cloud-based robust data solutions under Medallion architecture.

  Collaborate with other departments to identify key data needs and translate them into effective and scalable solutions.

  Understand the data needs of the company and plan along with other data engineers & scientists how to translate these needs into solid data solutions.

  Write the required ETLs/ELTs from scratch to help build an effective Data Warehouse.

  Maintain pipelines with Dagster to ensure that daily/weekly executions run smoothly and without errors.

  Establish sanity checks to catch data anomalies in any pipeline and/or data warehouse as early as possible.

• →

  Continuously improve our data processes and infrastructure.

• Experience in DBT.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based databases: Redshift and AWS RDS.

• Strong Python skills and any related packages for data analytics, transformations, APIs and AI/ML.

• Proven ability to build and maintain ETLs/ELTs, ideally using dbt or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with modern data stacks: Fivetran, Hightouch, Dagster and cloud services.

• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.

• A proactive and self-driven mindset, with a passion for solving complex problems through simple, scalable solutions.

• Ability to manage projects independently and take ownership from start to finish.

• Shows strong leadership potential and navigates challenging situations with a thoughtful approach.

• Strong communication skills when interacting with internal clients and stakeholders.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Nice-to-have experience with RAG solutions: vector databases, LLMs and data curation flows.
