We are seeking a Resource Planner to support workforce planning, resource governance, and operational execution within a large, global Technology organization.
This is an individual contributor role focused on accurate execution, strong controls, and high-quality reporting, working closely with Business Management, HR, Finance, Recruiting, and Vendor Management.
The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, comfort working with data and processes, and the ability to manage recurring workflows in a highly governed environment.
This role is well suited for someone building depth in workforce management, resource planning, or business management within Technology.
Execute day-to-day workforce and resource management transactions, including hiring, internal moves, onboarding/offboarding, and vendor-related requests.
Support staffing plan updates and headcount tracking in line with approved budgets and plans.
Coordinate with managers and business partners to ensure requests are reviewed and approved in accordance with firm policies.
Maintain accuracy and consistency of workforce data across systems of record.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, exceptions, and incomplete workflows.
Support governance processes by maintaining trackers, documentation, and audit-ready records.
Produce standard workforce reports and recurring analyses, e.g. headcount, hiring activity, and vacancies.
Support ad-hoc data requests with clear, well-structured output.
Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, and presented in a consistent format.
Act as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day workforce and resource planning questions.
Partner closely with Business Management, HR, Finance, Recruiting, and Vendor Management on operational matters.
Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across regions and seniority levels.
Follow established processes and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and data quality.
Support adoption of workforce planning tools, reporting templates, and standardized ways of working.
Escalate issues appropriately when risks, delays, or data concerns are identified.
2–4 years of relevant experience in resource planning, workforce management, business management, operations, business analysis, project coordination, or procurement.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Technology, HR, or a related field.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort working with structured data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Self-starter mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.
Basic understanding of headcount, staffing plans, or labor budgeting concepts.
Experience within financial services, technology, or another large, global organization.
Familiarity with workforce, HR, or vendor management systems.
Experience working in a governed or compliance-driven operating environment.
Interest in process improvement, automation, or reporting standardization.
