  • Ensure real-time visibility into system health, performance, and security.
  • Integrate monitoring and automation with ITSM, SIEM, and reporting tools.
  • Maintain documentation, alerting strategies, playbooks, and dashboards.
  • Mentor L2 Support Analysts across storage, backup, monitoring, and automation areas.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in audits, governance, service reviews, SLA reporting, and vendor management.
  • Stay up to date with emerging storage, backup, monitoring, and automation technologies.
  • Develop automation scripts/workflows (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and incident response.
  • Participation in on-call duty.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAN and NAS architectures (e.g., HPE, Dell EMC, NetApp, VMware vSAN, Cisco HyperFlex or similar technologies).
  • Strong understanding of fabric management (e.g., Cisco, Brocade).
  • Experience with provisioning, multipath configuration, zoning, and masking.
  • Expertise in replication technologies, snapshot management, and recovery testing.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise backup platforms (e.g., Rubrik or comparable solutions), including application-consistent backups and disaster recovery simulations.
  • Proven experience in data migration, lifecycle management, and secure decommissioning.
  • Strong understanding of storage security and access control principles.
  • Capacity planning, cost optimisation, and forecasting skills.
  • Experience collaborating with infrastructure and database teams on throughput and restore planning.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Strong English communication skills (minimum C1 level) are required, as the role involves regular interaction in English.
