Our ETF Market Making desk is building the next generation of trading systems to compete across European and US venues. We are looking for a Senior C++ Quantitative Developer to work at the core of these systems - designing, building, and delivering critical components that directly drive pricing, execution, and risk across thousands of instruments and multiple exchanges.
You will be a key member of the Quant Dev team, working closely with Quant Researchers and Quant Traders. Your contribution will have a direct and immediate impact on the desk's success.
- Design and optimize components across the trading engine, research platform, and analytics infrastructure
- Build, review, and deliver core trading components into production independently - pricing, execution, risk, and multi-exchange infrastructure
- Mentor junior developers and solve hard technical challenges critical to the desk's success
- Work closely with traders and researchers to understand requirements and provide timely feedback and solutions
- Design and optimize C++ systems for trading, market data, and infrastructure - profile and fine-tune performance across CPU, cache, and memory layers
- 3+ years of experience in performance-critical C++ (C++17 or newer)
- In-depth understanding of what is happening behind the abstractions - CPU, memory, OS, network
- Experience with distributed systems and performance profiling
- Proficient with AI and agentic coding tools
- Ability and willingness to take full ownership of the work - from idea to production delivery
- Strong communication skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exchange protocol experience (FIX, ITCH/OUCH, PITCH, BOE) is desirable
- Experience in a quantitative trading environment is highly desirable
