The Software Engineer will participate fully in all our R&D activities. Subject to their specialization, they may be involved in the design, development, testing, publishing, and/or support of different products and solutions. The role will work closely with a global team of engineers to build robust solutions that meet our business objectives following continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. Additionally, they will provide recommendations to management as to process, technologies, or other improvements intended to benefit productivity, efficiency and/or quality of the solutions developed by the team.

Develop key skills and knowledge of Verint applications
Timely development of product enhancements
Meet quality gates for deliverables
Documentation for technical designs and specifications
Mentoring Intern Engineers
Specific MBOs as agreed with Manager

Area	Key Skills
Core Tasks	Contribute and own the design, development, testing, deployment and monitoring across Verint’s software product offering Ensure high quality standards (functional and non-functional) of the work being delivered for customers consumption Develop features using best practices and ensure they fit with the architecture of the product Communicate potential risk areas along with proposed solutions wherever possible. Logical and structured thinking Connect and collaborate with the technical and business team members spread across time zone and culture for a larger goal and strive to win as a team. Being ethically right is of utmost importance. Adaptive to new learnings, possibly in new age tech Ability to innovate and execute
Skills	Mandatory Understanding of software development methodologies like agile Strong in at least one of the programming language along with core understanding of Algorithms and data structures. Strong fundamental concepts of computer science Good to have Experience of new age tech – previous projects or prototypes Exposure to automation/CICD/tools Knowledge of Cloud AWS, Azure, GCP
