In this role you will help advance the development of our ChartCheck application, improving the safety, efficiency, and quality of cancer treatment planning workflows for clinics around the world.

You will work closely with fully remote engineering teams to design, build, and maintain both frontend and backend systems while contributing to new product development initiatives for cancer centers. Your software development and leadership skills will play an integral role in shaping scalable and impactful solutions for radiation oncology clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full stack functionality for the ChartCheck web application across frontend and backend systems

  • Design, develop, and maintain browser-based web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative software products for cancer treatment centers

  • Participate in thoughtful code reviews and contribute to maintaining high software quality standards

  • Track and manage development work clearly and independently through tickets and project workflows

  • Support teammates through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship

  • Contribute to secure and compliant software development practices within healthcare environments

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of experience, MS preferred

  • Deep programming expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript in a browser environment

  • Experience building and maintaining production web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies

  • Full stack development experience building browser-based web applications across frontend and backend systems

  • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs

  • Database experience with MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

Nice to Have

  • Experience with C#/.NET

  • WPF / C#.NET experience

  • Clinical programming experience with HL7 or DICOM

  • Experience working within HIPAA and medical device software development environments

  • Cybersecurity and software risk management experience

  • Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Lit, React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies
  • Team player mindset with a strong sense of shared ownership

  • Adaptability within fast-moving and evolving environments

  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and thoughtful engineering practices

  • Commitment to code quality and testing standards

  • Ability to work independently while communicating progress clearly

  • Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing abilities
