Key Responsibilities:
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve chargeback disputes by gathering relevant information, analysing transaction details, and assessing the validity of claims.
- Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary documentation to support dispute cases, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with customers, merchants, and financial institutions to clarify dispute details and resolve issues.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the status of chargeback cases, update case records, and generate reports on dispute outcomes and trends.
- Compliance: Ensure all dispute/chargebacks handling processes comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Vendor, Customer Service, Merchant account managers, Fraud Prevention, and Finance, to gather information and coordinate efforts in dispute resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve dispute handling processes and suggest enhancements to reduce the occurrence of chargebacks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1.5-2+ years of experience in chargeback management, dispute resolution, or a related field (Banks, fintech, payment aggregators).
- Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and database management tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of payment processing, credit card industry regulations, and chargeback processes.
- Preferably: Candidates with experience in the Domestic and cross border market, fintech.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused attitude and a high degree of integrity.
