We are looking for an Industrial Paint Prep Technician to join our growing team on 2nd Shift. As an Industrial Paint Prep Technician, you will assist in masking parts in a rapid, precise, and safe manner primarily for the aerospace and aviation industry.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Rapidly, precisely, safely, and accurately mask parts for painting.
- →Utilize .dxf files to print masking templates on a cricut (will be trained on process).
- →Load and unload items from paint booths/drying racks etc.
- →Clean and prepare parts in preparation for paint or after paint.
- →Mask parts for painting according to blue prints, travelers or other instructions.
- →Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
- →Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- →Start machines or equipment to begin any paint or related processes.
- →Safely, accurately and efficiently any operate equipment or instruments used in the paint process, or assist other operators.
- →Clean work area and all equipment used in the process of painting parts.
- →Adhere to all procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Demonstrates inspection competence.
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
