~1 min readAs Director, Infrastructure, you will lead the strategic and operational management of Arts Centre Melbourne’s buildings, infrastructure and facilities. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will oversee maintenance, engineering, capital works and security functions while driving long-term asset planning, safety, compliance and operational efficiency. The role also plays a key role in the Reimagining Arts Centre Melbourne project, ensuring infrastructure and facilities considerations support the organisation’s future direction.

~1 min read- 10–15+ years in infrastructure, facilities, engineering, assets or property
- 5–10+ years leading teams and budgets
- Experience managing major capital works
- Strong asset renewal and lifecycle planning experience
- Experience managing building maintenance programs
- Contractor and vendor management experience
- Experience managing operational budgets
- Strong safety, risk and compliance knowledge
- Experience with security and emergency management
- Strategic facilities and infrastructure leadership
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management
- Experience working with government or public-sector partners
- Understanding of venue operations and asset requirements
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead organisational transformation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Experience with MS Office and MS Project
- Understanding of CAD and building services
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- CFM, FMP, PMP or similar qualifications desirable
- Asset management qualifications aligned to ISO 55000 desirable
- WHS, sustainability or ESG credentials desirable
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Satisfactory National Police Check required
