Reddit is at a crucial point in our journey, and we are looking for a Lead Technical Solutions Manager based in Australia to drive the success of Reddit Ads across the APAC market. This role bridges two critical pillars within our organization: Core Ads Technical Support and Advanced Signals Implementation.
Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering, you will serve as the premier regional subject matter expert (SME). You will handle deep diagnostic investigations to unblock business-critical revenue , while simultaneously driving white-glove, strategic conversions onboarding (CAPI and Pixel) for top-tier regional advertisers. As a Lead Technical Solutions Manager, you are expected to deliver system-level impact, translating field realities into product roadmap improvements and automated internal tools.
Please note that this role is required to work in office 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Technical Troubleshooting: Execute advanced diagnostic procedures to resolve complex, ambiguous campaign delivery, tracking discrepancies, and auction performance blockers across Reddit’s ad platform. Partner with Ads Engineering to drive resolutions within specified SLAs.
- →Signals & CAPI Onboarding: Lead end-to-end technical discovery and migration calls with priority APAC advertisers. Assess their technical stacks, configure event mapping, and guide them through seamless Conversions API (CAPI) and pixel integrations.
- →Quality Assurance & Debugging: Perform meticulous QA and payload validation to ensure accurate, deduplicated, and high-quality event data flows between client databases and Reddit's platform.
- →Cross-Functional Strategy & Roadmap Influence: Aggregate regional ticket trends and advertiser friction points. Package technical findings into concise business narratives to influence Product and Engineering roadmaps, steering product readiness for localized tentpole moments.
- →Scalability & Tooling Strategy: Identify operational inefficiencies and architect automated troubleshooting tools, internal runbooks, or dashboards (e.g., via Hex, Looker, SQL) to reduce white-glove dependencies and drive systemic queue reduction.
- →On-Call Support: Participate in a high-level senior rotation schedule to provide support for critical, revenue-blocking platform issues.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience: 8+ years of total experience in ad tech, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a highly consultative technical client-facing capacity.
- Signal Expertise: Hands-on experience with server-to-server integrations, Conversions API (CAPI), web pixels, partner integrations, data mapping, and web privacy structures.
- Analytical Rigor: Highly adept at data analysis, handling network debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Sentry, LogRocket), and writing robust database queries (SQL).
- Web Technologies: Strong fundamental understanding of web architecture and standard digital protocols, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML concepts.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep fluency in the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad serving pipelines, attribution modeling (VTC/CTC), auctions/bidding dynamics, and third-party measurement (MMPs).
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of translating complex technical bugs into clear, revenue-justified stories for cross-functional leads and C-suite client executives.
- Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
